PERTH, WESTERN AUSTRALIA. 22 July 2026. Odasiti has opened its public waitlist, inviting adults to register interest in a new dating and connection platform built around a simple question: what can happen when people encounter the person before the picture?
Odasiti does not display member photos or videos. Real names are not visible to other users. Instead, each member is represented on the platform by an Oda avatar and a private, nature-themed profile name.
The experience follows five user-paced Levels: Discover, Exchange, Spark, Reveal and Leap. They are designed to help people explore compatibility, conversation and emotional connection before physical appearance enters the relationship.
Members begin by discovering potential connections and interacting through compatibility experiences. Direct communication becomes available progressively, with identity verification required before the first direct text exchange. Voice and other communication tools can then support the connection as both people choose to move forward.
Unlike platforms that reveal a photograph after a digital milestone, Odasiti’s Reveal happens in person. When both members decide they are ready, the platform supports an approved public meetup where physical reality enters the journey for the first time.
For every scheduled meetup, each member is required to nominate an emergency contact. The nominated contact is notified by email or SMS when the meetup is scheduled and again shortly before it begins, with a prompt encouraging them to check in with the member afterwards.
“Odasiti was created around the belief that people deserve the opportunity to be encountered as more than a photograph,” an Odasiti spokesperson said. “We are not promising a perfect match or a risk-free experience. We are creating a different structure, one that gives curiosity, compatibility, consent and trust more room to develop.”
The waitlist is open broadly, with verified demand, operational readiness and local requirements helping determine where the platform opens next. Australia remains an important anchor market, while interest from other countries will help shape future rollout decisions.
Odasiti has also been developed in response to broader concerns about swipe fatigue, online exposure and growing social disconnection. The company intends to work with researchers, universities, community organisations and Safe Space partners to examine how a more considered digital journey may influence trust, connection and user wellbeing.
